Telok Blangah Hill Park Features

Telok Blangah Park is a two-minute walk from the Southern Ridges, compromising Labrador Nature Reserve, Kent Ridge Park, HortPark, and Mount Faber Park. Besides photo shoots and picnics, this park is also a hot spot for a weekly workout.

Henderson Waves 

Henderson Waves is the highest pedestrian bridge and gives you mesmerizing views of Keppel Harbour. This 274-meter pedestrian bridge has a broad balau wood timber decking. Its unique wave shape is consists of undulating curved “ribs” series, rising above and dropping below the walkway. If you need to rest, those “waves” act as your sheltered rest stops.

Alkaff Mansion 

Alkaff Mansion was built by an Arab trader from Yemen and was once a family home. It has a colonial-style architecture, reflecting the wealth of the traders who once operated at Telok Blangah Hill. At present, it houses restaurants where you can enjoy delicious foods and the elegance of the place.

Terrace Garden

Terrace Garden is situated at the heart of Telok Blangah Hill Park. It comes in a series of stairs and terraces. Once you reach the top, you will find an open space and a small shelter. From there, you will witness the main attraction – the gorgeous view of the city.

Forest Walk 

Forest Walk is located at the park’s far end. It compromises elevated, metal walkways that will take you above the ridge’s foliage below from park to Alexandra Road. If you start from Forest Walk, you do not need to go back to the park. So, you can have a relaxing stroll to Alexandra Road.

Therapeutic Garden 

Therapeutic Garden is the newest attraction in Telok Blangah Hill Park. It has opened in 2020 and provides various themed zones. It is an ideal place to enjoy scenic views.

Stream Garden 

Stream Garden is located at the bottom of Telok Blangah Hill Park. This attraction has a small stream running beside the foot reflexology path. A small playground for kids was found near it, but it is now gone. You will only see a sandy patch. If you arrive from the park by taking a bus from Telok Blangah Heights road, you will pass through the Stream Garden.

Yes. The park offers a tranquil environment to have a picnic. If you want a secluded picnic spot, head your way to Picnic Hill Top. From there, you can find individual picnic tables.

Yes. Many restaurants are a short bus ride or drive away from the park that serves halal foods, including 786 Char Kway Teow, Edmond Rice Chicken, and Aspirasi Food Stall.

Yes. You can come to park in the morning (7 AM to 9 AM) and enjoy the sights of native birds around the park’s Singing Forest.
