You can find out more about Youth Olympic Park below.

Youth Olympic Park Overview and Features

Before diving into the features of Youth Olympic Park, did you know that most of the arts you can see here are made by the local students and teenagers for an art competition? The competition gathered more than one hundred entries, but only 27 were approved to be displayed and painted in the area. Take yourself to the park and see those astonishing artworks with your naked eyes.

As you walk towards The Helix Bridge, you can read a beautiful poem, entitled “Lion Heart,” which was written by Amanda Chong, who is a 16-year-old girl.

The Youth Olympic Park also has a well-designed landscape maze made by Aniket Chavan. The centre of the maze has a 4.5 meters tall mountain that greets each visitor. The mountain in the maze was inspired by Joyce Seah’s drawing.

Beyond that, the park also features a wall made from solid rocks where all drawings of the 18 teenagers were attached. Each drawing represents the well-known spots in Singapore, including The Esplanade and The Merlion.

When you get tired wandering the park, you can sit on “The Ribbon Seats” made by Lui Honfay of the National University of Singapore. The seats are made from durable materials, including wood and metal. Honfay wanted it to have a cute, aesthetic ribbon-look that kids and kids-at-heart will enjoy.
